Every ensuite bathroom also has a tub — which surely comes in handy for the kids. In an interview with Scary Mommy, Chelsea Clinton said daughter Charlotte, much like other children, plays with bath toys. However, her toy of choice is not a rubber ducky but an action figure of her "Granma" Hillary Clinton in a blue pantsuit. The average size of your garden variety New York City apartment is only getting smaller. One study found that units built between 2010 and 2016 were only about 866 square feet — which is about 24 feet smaller than the apartments that were built in the aughts.

In March 2017, she became a director at the travel company Expedia. She's also the Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation and teaches at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. And, if that weren't enough, she's also an author of children's books.
Of the six and a half bathrooms throughout the home, one most certainly takes the (gluten-free) cake. As the floor planof Clinton's place highlights, the Whitman unit features a "full Italian marble slab master bathroom." And it's as amazing as it sounds. Frameless glass doors separate the spacious shower from the rest of the bathroom. The soaking tub also has a room of its own — complete with a marble step leading to the bath. Although New York City apartments are certainly not known for being very spacious, the couple and their children have plenty of room — about 5,000 square feet — to roam and spread out. In fact, Clinton's apartment, while not the White House, is impressive, as it's the longest apartment in the entire city and extends over a full Manhattan block, as noted by the Daily Mail.

She adds, “Even while we’re not there, we have friends with kids who come over and use it.” Behind the pool sits a poolhouse which had been imagined as a guesthouse for Ms. Clinton’s mother, Dorothy Rodham. (She ultimately decided to settle in a bedroom in the main house.) The lantern at its entrance is a design by South Carolina firm The Urban Electric Company. Can sell for about 6% above list price and go pending in around 22 days. For a time, Chelsea Clinton owned two homes in the Flatiron District. After getting married, she purchased a nearly 2,000-square-foot apartment with similar views of Madison Square Park.
"With our supervision, our 4-and-1/2-year-old daughter can help us change lightbulbs and, when we do, we talk to her about how important it is for our home to be as environmentally conscious as possible," she told Parade. "The kids may not understand the words but hopefully that sense of family responsibility and family citizenship will affect their actions and the ways in which they act in the world over time." “I spend every bit of time that I can ,” says Ms. Clinton of the lush and landscaped gardens in the backyard. “We have lots and lots of outdoor events, hundreds and hundreds of people sometimes,” she says. The pool, which had been completely renovated, sees its fair share of activity, too. Ms. Clinton, who is an avid swimmer, uses the pool along with family and friends.

I had gone up to the third floor and looked out over the trees—to the back of the British embassy—and I just felt like I was in old-time London or New York. The gardens were just the most amazing that I had seen anywhere in my real-estate tour,” she says. The average homes sell for around list price and go pending in around 48 days. By providing this information, Redfin and its agents are not providing advice or guidance on flood risk, flood insurance, or other climate risks. A four bed, three bath ranch home featuring a gourmet country kitchen with new granite countertops, a home office, living room, and sun-lit family room with vaulted ceilings.
And, after touring her incredible "luxury fortress," you just might too. But is she planning to give up the gorgeous views to run for president of the United States? Clinton isn't ruling out running for office — and thus returning to the White House — but she's happy with her local politicians. "For me, I live in a neighborhood in the city and in a state where I feel my family, and what I hope for the world, is well represented," she told USA Today.
The Flatiron District is home to multimillion-dollar properties like Clinton's home, as well as to boutique shops. Resident Nicholas Athanail, who first moved into the neighborhood back in the mid '90s, told the publication that the district has also "really become a foodie heaven." It's quite a place to live, that's for sure. Clinton's apartment is located squarely in the middle of the Flatiron District, an area named after the city's landmark Flatiron Building. This is avery desirable part of not just Manhattan, but New York City as a whole. Nestled between New York’s Hell’s Kitchen and Midtown West, The Clinton provides its residents the luxury and freedom of being centrally located.
The house was built in 1951 and was sold to the Clintons for $2.85 million – $650,000 below the asking price. Though the seven bedroom, five bathroom property is a family home, it is primarily used by Hillary, who wrote her 2014 memoir Hard Choices at the house. Still, Clinton didn't sell the couple's initial property right away. It actually wasn't until 2016 that they decided to list the apartment and, in 18 short days, it sold for just under $6 million. We don't know for sure if Clinton will always reside in New York City or if, perhaps, her journey will see her back in the White House, but we know that she has a fondness for life in the Flatiron District.
